You build the product. I build the business under it.
I’m Robert Boag. Fractional CFO and COO. One person, both jobs. I get the numbers true, cut what isn’t working and build what’s missing. Then I hand it over.
Startups and owner‑run companies. Bend, Oregon or remote.

Find it. Fix it. Run it.

Four weeks inside your business. What’s broken, what it costs and what to fix first.

Foundation
I run your numbers and your week. Cash forecast, a weekly leadership meeting and a board pack you don’t dread.
- From $12,000/mo
Operator
Your CFO and COO, minus the two salaries. Foundation, plus I build what’s missing.

Questions
- Can one person really be your fractional CFO and COO?
- Early on, yes. One person who sees the numbers and the operation moves faster than two execs passing notes.
- What’s the difference between a fractional CFO and a bookkeeper?
- Your bookkeeper tells you what happened. I tell you what happens next and what to do about it. Keep your bookkeeper and CPA. I put their numbers to work.
- How much of your time do I get?
- Enough to run your week and keep cash current. You get me, not a junior and a ChatGPT account.
- When should we hire a full-time CFO or COO instead?
- When the work fills a full week. For startups, that’s usually around Series A. When that day comes, I help you hire them and hand over the keys.
- Do you only work with startups?
- No. Service businesses are where I started. I work with hardware and software startups too.
